The invention relates to an electrical cell (galvanic element) having a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte containing a lithium salt, which is characterised in that the negative electrode (6) has a two-layer structure with one layer made of a lithium-aluminium alloy and with one aluminium layer. The cell is produced by arranging a positive electrode (4), a negative electrode (6) and an electrolyte in a cell container (1) having casings (2, 3) for the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and making a seal (9) between the casings (2, 3) for the positive electrode (4) and the negative electrode (6). The negative electrode is electrochemically produced in situ in the cell container (1) from a lithium-plated aluminium substrate. <IMAGE> |
