abstract |
The invention relates to fibre composites consisting of prepreg layers which are bonded to one another by intermediate layers. The prepreg layers consist of laid webs impregnated with curable resins. The intermediate layers contain regions of flexible polymer films which cover 10 to 90% of the surface of the prepreg layers. The polymer films are applied as an aqueous dispersion to the prepreg layers, and the layers are pressed after removal of the water. The composites are suitable as structural components for the aerospace industry and in the automotive industry. |
