abstract | The invention relates to a projection screen installation for visual firing training devices, as is illustrated in an example in Figure 1 (plan view). The installation consists of two preferably identically constructed side roller sets, each of which contains at least one paper winding-up reel 4 and one paper unwinding reel 5 (new-paper supply reel) as well as, possibly, additional guide rollers 7. As a rule, two paper webs 1 and 2 are moved horizontally and in opposite directions with respect to one another between the right-hand and left-hand roller sets. The side roller sets can be displaced as desired in the horizontal on floor or ceiling guide devices 9, so that it is possible to vary the projection screen width (target display area 6) and to occupy compact parking positions on the sides of the range or at any desired intermediate positions between the range sidewalls. Variations of the projection screen devices according to the invention with single or multi-layer paper guidance, different numbers and arrangements of the paper winding-up reels 4 and unwinding reels 5, and the paper webs being passed back through the firing area (target display area 6) via side guide rollers 7 are possible. <IMAGE> |
