abstract Photopolymerisable mixt. (I) comprises a polymeric binder (II), a cpd. with at least one terminal double bond (III), a N-heterocyclic photoinitiator (IV), and a halogen cpd. (V) of formula X'YZS-(A)n-B-D or (X1X2X3C)mW; X1=C- or Br; Z2,X3=X1,H or alkyl; Y,Z=X1,H,CN, or (A)n-(B)n-D; A=C6H4; B=CO or SO2; D=R,OR,NHR,NH2 or CX1X2X3; R=alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or heteroyl; W=5- or 6-membered heterocycle with 1-3 hetero-atoms, opt. substd. or fused with an aromatic ring; n=0 or 1; m=1 or 2. A photopolymerisable recording material comprises a substrate and a photopolymerisable layer of the above compsn. Specifically (IV) is an acridine or phenazine cpd., esp. a 9-arly-substd. acridine; (V) is tribromomethylphenyl sulphone, 2,2-dibromomalonic acid bisamide, alpha, alpha-dibromo-alpha-cyanomethylphenyl sulphone, -alpha-benzoylmethylphenyl sulphone, or -malonic acid bis-N-methylamide- a 2-substd. 4,6-bis(trichloro-methyl)- s-triazine (pref. 2-alkyl or 2-aryl-substd.) or a 2-bromomethylquinoline; amt. of (V) is 0.01-3 wt.%. (I) also contains a dye or a combination of dye and leuco-dye. (II) is insol. in water and soluble in aq. alkali soln., and has Acid No.50-350. Substrate is Al,Cu or an alloy of Al or Cu, or a transparent plastic film.
