ACTH and biologically-active ACTH derivates are produced by genetic engineering. The correponding DNA sequences are incorporated into vector plasmids, which in turn are introduced into E. coli bacteria and expressed therein. The ACTH and its derivates thus obtained are useful as medicaments. |
