A push-button keyboard switch unit comprises a printed circuit board 3 carrying a plurality of pairs of fixed contact points 4. Instead of fitting a covering sheet which includes a multiplicity of push-buttons, one for each pair of contacts, over the whole circuit board as is usual, individual push-buttons 1 each having a conducting rubber switching contact 11 are fixed to the board 3 by an adhesive 5 with a base part 2 of the push-button surrounding the contacts. Instead of individual push-buttons 1, a group of push-buttons may be formed in a unit as a single molding, the push-buttons in each unit are then still fixed by an adhesive to the board, one around each pair of contacts. The base parts 2 can engage a locating projection from circuit board 3, or can be adhered to the uppermost of a pair of opposing members. <IMAGE> |
