titleOfInvention INK OR INK WRITING OR DRAWING DEVICE
abstract In an ink writing instrument, the reservoir space is subdivided into individual annular chambers 35 arranged in axial sequence within the housing 10. The annular chambers 35 are connected to the writing tip 22 via the ink guide 27. The ink-filled chambers 35 are successively emptied via the capillaries 28 of the ink guide 27, air passing via the ventilation channel 18 of the mouthpiece 15 and the capillary ventilation apertures 36 into the chambers 35. Since no included volume of air is formed within the reservoir on ink removal, changes in temperature or pressure do not result in the unwanted escape of ink, as happens in other writing instruments with static ink. <IMAGE>
