titleOfInvention | METAL-CONTAINING DISAZO COMPOUNDS, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND METHOD FOR COLORING OR PRINTING |
abstract | Metallated disazo compounds conform to the formula I <IMAGE> as the free acid or in salt form, the individual symbols being as defined in Claim 1. These compounds are employed in the dyeing or printing of organic substrates which contain hydroxyl groups or nitrogen, preferably for textile material which consists of or contains cellulose fibres. The particularly preferred substrate is cotton, on its own or as a blend with other suitable textile fibres. The wash fastness of the dyeings and prints obtained on cellulose-containing textile material can be further improved by aftertreatment with a specific polymeric, polybasic amino compound (A). |
