abstract An aerosol composition is described which comprises (A) from 2 to 30 parts by weight of a concentrate which contains from 3 to 60% by weight of an aqueous solution of ethanol and/or isopropanol, from 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a surface-active agent (surfactant) and/or from 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of a powder and from 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of an active component, in each case per 100 parts by weight of the aqueous solution, and (B) from 70 to 98 parts by weight of a propellant which essentially comprises dichlorotetrafluoroethane. A foam or mist prepared from the aerosol composition explodes with a noise that sounds like an electrical discharge.
