abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the production of stress-cracking-resistant mouldings from heat-resistant aromatic polythioetherimides by thermoforming and subsequent crosslinking of the polymer. This crosslinking is carried out until the soluble contents of the polymer have been reduced to a value below 60% without any significant increase in the glass transition temperature. It can also be carried out until the soluble contents have been reduced to a value below 5%, in which case the glass transition temperature of the moulding increases by at least 20 DEG C. |
