abstract | Green mixed-crystal pigments of the quinacridonequinone series, comprising 99-60 mole per cent of a quinacridonequinone of the general formula (1) <IMAGE> in which R is a hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom or an alkyl(C1-C4), trifluoromethyl, carboxamido, N-monoalkyl-(C1-C4)-carboxamido, N,N-dialkyl-(C1-C4)-carboxamido or nitro group, and m and n are each an identical or different number from 1 to 4, and 1-40 mole per cent of substituted or unsubstituted indigo of the general formula (2) <IMAGE> in which R' is a hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom or an alkyl(C1-C4) group and m and n are as defined above, where the substituted or unsubstituted indigo is incorporated into the crystal lattice of the quinacridonequinone; processes for their preparation and their use for colouring natural and synthetic materials and paints. |
