abstract |
The invention relates to a re-removable adhesive composition which contains: (I) 100 parts by weight of a copolymer (A) which is tacky at room temperature and has been synthesised from 90 to 99.9% by weight of a monomer (a) of the vinyl type containing no functional groups which is principally composed of an acrylate or methacrylate containing an alkyl group having two to twelve carbon atoms, and from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a monomer (b) of the vinyl type containing at least one functional group which contains one or more of the following groups in its molecule: a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, an amino group or an epoxy group; (II) from 20 to 1000 parts by weight of a copolymer (B) whose glass transition temperature is 10 DEG C or below and which is in the form of particles having a mean particle diameter of from 0.5 to 300 mu m and has been synthesised from 90 to 99.9% by weight of a monomer (a) of the vinyl type containing no functional groups which principally comprises acrylate or methacrylate containing an alkyl group having two to twelve carbon atoms, and from 0.1 to 10% by weight of an alpha -monoolefinic carboxylic acid (c); and (III) from 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a polyfunctional crosslinking agent (C) which is capable of reacting with the functional groups of components (b) and (c), the surfaces of the particles of the copolymer (B) being fully covered by the copolymer (A). |
