abstract Water must be disinfected. However, the chlorine gas used has fallen into discredit in the age of environmental protection, and it has even been said to assist in forest die-back. If water is introduced into a funnel-like threaded pipe, and this pipe is rotated rapidly enough, the water must be intimately mixed with ozone or oxygen drawn in by suction at the same time for disinfection. Curvatures or rods on the thread are intended to support this. The excess of ozone or oxygen or of the mixed air used is intended to exit through fine pores in the grooves at the end of the threaded pipe, to be collected and to be drawn in by suction, with the low-oxygen water drawn in by suction, from the front again into the threaded pipe as a result of its rotation. By tapering the pipe from the front to the rear, the intake of the gas by suction is to be facilitated. The mixing into the water is to be facilitated by external cooling using a coolant.
