abstract | In a method of continuously treating and/or developing an imagewise exposed colour-photographic light-sensitive silver halide material, the material is, subsequently to a bleach-fixing stage or bleaching and fixing stages, washed in a water-washing stage in the presence of at least one compound of the general formula <IMAGE> in which the radicals M which can be identical or different are each a hydrogen atom, a lithium atom, a sodium atom, a potassium atom or an ammonium ion. This method permits a large reduction in the quantity of water used in the washing stage during the treatment and/or development of colour-photographic light-sensitive silver halide materials. |
