titleOfInvention FLEXIBLE, ADSORBENT COMPOSITE MATERIAL
abstract The composite material has a layer of absorbent needled nonwoven fabric and a liquid-impermeable layer of plastic connected thereto. In order to provide a material of this kind which can be used in as versatile a manner as possible, is particularly flexible and at the same dimensionally stable and whose surface in direct contact with the human skin satisfies all the requirements for softness, one side of the needled nonwoven fabric is connected over its entire surface to a flexible-plastic layer applied by extrusion coating and its other side is connected, at least over part of its surface, to a cover nonwoven fabric.
