USE OF A TWO OR MULTIPHASE AGENT FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING OSTEOPOROSIS |
abstract |
The invention relates to a two-phase composition for the treatment or prevention of osteoporosis. Bone cells are synchronised during a bone cell activation period; resorption of bone which normally follows this activation is inhibited by using polyphosphonate; bone formation can take place in the resting period during which food supplements are administered to the patient. The method shortens the natural cycle time of bone formation/resorption, which results in faster osteogenesis. |
