abstract |
Difficulties occurring in practice in the direct printing of blended materials composed of keratin and cellulose fibres with reactive dyes and of blended materials composed of polyester and keratin fibres with mixtures of disperse and reactive dyes, which hitherto stood in the way of a satisfactory shade-in-shade dyeing of the two fibre components, are eliminated by addition of ethoxylated fatty acid amides to the printing paste or appropriate preparation of the material before printing. In an analogous manner, the colouring of a discharge article on blended materials composed of polyester and keratin fibres is favoured by the fatty acid amide ethoxylates. |
