titleOfInvention | USE OF POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL |
abstract | Polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of about 100 to about 10,000, preferably between about 200 and 600, is used for the production of smokes, in particular concealment smokes. However, glycerol or a glycerol/water mixture can also be used. These smoke agents are atomised by a known thermal aerosolisation process. These smoke agents have an extremely low toxicity, so they are very compatible with the skin and cause no irritations. They are additionally harmless to the environment, since they are readily water-soluble and easily degradable biologically. |
