titleOfInvention COMPOSITE PREPARATION FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF COMPOST WITH ALL THE NECESSARY MINERALS AND TRACE ELEMENTS
abstract Composting has been used for a long time to feed organic waste material back into the natural cycle. However, experiments over several years have shown that all methods result in deficiencies which can be compensated for by adding rock mills which are rich in bases and algal lime and by adding animal proteins in the form of sanitised, i.e. precomposted, horse/sheep/cattle manure as well as horn and bone meal. Dried, finely ground herbs and green algae complement the compost material, which is then provided as a substrate for the edaphon as a nature-like soil cover. The natural soil cover is a prerequisite for extensive edaphon and thus guarantees a healthy and highly fertile soil. A product in the form of a mixture of basic rock meal, ground clay, algal lime, composted horse/sheep/cattle manure, horn and bone meal, green algae and selected herbs contains all substances which can be found in the natural soil cover but which are deficient in a range of compost materials. Admixing a finished composting preparation prior to the composting process therefore allows a high-quality soil substrate to be produced from any organic waste material by means of recycling: the basis of any humus soil.
