The invention relates to a hydrophilic derivative of natural beeswax which is non-ionic and auto-emulsifiable and gives, with water, an oil-in-water emulsion which allows the incorporation of active ingredients. Without modifying the wax, hydrophilic groups are, according to the invention, fixed to the free or esterified fatty acids of beeswax. The invention furthermore relates to a process for the preparation of creams using said derivative, and to compositions which contain this derivative. |
