abstract | The process makes use of an expression vector with a DNA fragment which contains a gene coding for a phosphate-binding protein and a replicon from the group of plasmids and bacteriophages, wherein the DNA fragment is ligated to the replicon and wherein the following process steps are adhered to: - ligation of a DNA fragment which harbours a gene coding for a polypeptide to the expression vector at its section located below the DNA sequence of a promoter for the gene coding for a phosphate-binding protein - transformation of the cells of a bacterium from the Enterobacteriaceae family with the expression vector to which the gene coding for a polypeptide is ligated to give transformation products - selection of the transformation products from cells of a bacterial strain from the Enterobacteriaceae family - incubation of the transformation products, the transformation products being induced to express the gene coding for the polypeptide to form the polypeptide and - isolation of the polypeptide from the incubated transformation products. |
