titleOfInvention STABILIZED POWER SUPPLY FOR TELEVISION RECEIVERS
abstract The invention relates to a device for generating the feed voltages for the electrical assemblies of a television receiver. It is the object of the invention to develop a stabilised power supply device with a freely oscillating flyback converter in such a manner that all electrical assemblies and the picture tube of a television receiver are supplied from the rectified mains alternating voltage with as low as possible power conversion losses and additional expenditure for suppressing a modulation of the high tension when using a dynamic east/west raster correction is avoided. This is achieved by the flyback converter transformer being provided with an additional secondary winding which is connected to the acceleration electrode of the picture tube, all windings of the transformer being arranged on one leg of a U-shaped ferrite core in such a manner that the primary storage inductance is placed between the secondary windings for generating the feed voltages for the electrical assemblies and the additional secondary winding, and that windings with numbers of turns which are low in comparison with the width of the winding are wound with such a pitch that they largely enclose the ferrite core over the entire useful winding width, and that the winding voltage induced during the flyback phase is two to three times greater than the winding voltage during the conducting phase of the switching transistor. <IMAGE>
