An enzyme electrode with an SH enzyme, i. H. an enzyme whose SH groups are involved in the enzymatic activity or a reactor with an immobilized SH enzyme is brought into contact with a solution of an SH compound such as mercaptoethanol. This increases the service life (between measurements) of the electrode or the reactor used for measuring dissolved constituents. |
