DEVICE FOR THE THERAPY OF HAEMORRHOIDS |
abstract |
The invention provides a device for the therapy of haemorrhoids in which a magnetic effect is transmitted to the haemorrhoids from the body of the device and the haemorrhoidal plexus region contracts due to cooling of the body of the device, so that recovery is possible with the aid of ointments. The body of the device has a shape which is particularly suitable for insertion into the anus without friction and for satisfactory retention in the anus after insertion. Either the entire body of the device is made of a rubber-magnet material or a plastic-magnet material, or else a rod-shaped magnet is covered by a plastic and provided with an appropriate superficial shape. The surface of the body can contain a concave region which is to be filled with a medicament, so that the device can be easily provided with an ointment for the treatment of haemorrhoids. |
