titleOfInvention TURBINES FOR THE OPERATION OF SMALL MACHINES ON THE FRONT PART OF MEDICAL PROBE, CATHETER OR THE LIKE AND FORWARD MOVEMENT
abstract German Patent Specification 3111497.09 described advancing medical tubing and probes using nozzle bodies. By incorporating only few further technical elements, such as a shaft 14 and discs 15 perforated for fluid, and by introducing nozzles 19 radially relative to the longitudinal axis, such nozzle bodies can be redesigned to form turbines 18. By lengthening the shaft 10/shafts 10a and 10b at the front it is possible to provide the front of the medical probe with fittings, and this already represents very small machinery. Also described is the possibility of advancing such probes even actively forwards, by propellers 27a and 27b which are used in a protected manner there and which can also rotate in opposite directions against antitorsion, turbines 18 employed downstream in the double-tubing system 21 likewise taking care of the drive even without fluid emerging in the pathway of the body to any noticeable extent. A further development is embodied by a disobliteration probe with which it should even be possible to reopen 28 vessels previously closed by thrombi or formation of connective tissue in the region of the original lumen.
