abstract | The invention relates to a heat engine with a flowing working medium present in the liquid and gaseous phase and with devices for converting gas pressure into work, a plurality of these devices being connected in series and in each case connected by conduits to a receptacle holding the liquid working medium; the working medium in the receptacles is heated by supplying heat - and the gas phase is transferrable, the supply of heat to a first receptacle being accomplished by means of an external source of heat while it is in each case the heat of condensation of the working medium from the upstream device which is fed to the remaining receptacles. |
