abstract A hygienic absorption pad, for example a nappy, is described having a liquid-permeable film facing the body in use, an absorbent cushion and a liquid-impermeable linen-protecting film. The liquid-permeable covering film is coated or impregnated with a skincare compound which is composed of triglycerides and/or partial glycerides of coconut oil fatty acids having 8 to 18 C atoms and, if required, other ingredients. The other ingredients are partial glycerides of mono- or polyunsaturated fatty acids, glycerides of natural plant fatty acids and vaseline and, if required, active compounds, such as camomile extract and fragrances. The skincare compound is to be applied in an amount of 0.25 to 0.30 g per 100 cm<2> of surface.
