titleOfInvention | HEATING VALVE |
abstract | A rod-like device, which can be displaced axially, projects from the hollow valve spindle and can be fixed with respect to the opening movement of the valve body, is guided in a heating valve for adjustably limiting the maximum opening position of the valve body, and is sealed in the said spindle. According to the invention, the limiting device is formed from two rotating parts, which are guided on one another and can be fixed relative to one another, between which a cylindrical seal consisting of plastic material which can flow when cold is compressed in the axial direction and is held against the inner wall of the spindle in a sealing manner. In this case, the rotating part directed against the valve body can be displaced against the pressure of the seal and can be fixed in any position. According to the invention, it is possible in such a heating valve to readjust the seal between the limiting device for the maximum opening position and the inner wall of the hollow valve spindle, without assembling the valve or parts of the valve. |
