abstract Heat-sensitive recording sheet, obtained by coating a substrate with a normally colourless or pale dye precursor and benzyl p-hydroxybenzoate as a colour developer (which reacts with the dye precursor on heating, with development of a colour) together with benzyl p-benzyloxybenzoate. By the combined use of benzyl p-hydroxybenzoate and of benzyl p-benzyloxybenzoate, the image stability is increased, fogging is reduced and the sensitisation effect is improved.
