abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a health drink, wherein a certain type of Basidiomycete mushrooms belonging to the family Polyporaceae and Indian hydrangea tea are used as starting materials and with a multiple in weight and water up to a tens of times in weight of the mixture extracted at a predetermined temperature. The resulting extract is acidified with an organic acid and allowed to stand at a low temperature, thereby allowing insoluble matter to precipitate. The insoluble material is separated from the extract system and the resulting filtrate is thermally sterilized after being transferred to a suitable container.
