| abstract | In a word processing system according to the invention (Fig. 1) which, in addition to characters, can print out horizontal and vertical lines by means of a printer (14), the vertical lines being printed in sections corresponding to a line, a special interpolation circuit (9, 13, 16) achieves that with increased line spacing through interpolation continuous uninterrupted vertical lines are printed out. The interpolation circuit also prevents overlapping within longer vertical lines. |
