abstract The present invention relates to a lubricant in the form of a suppository which has been developed specifically for the human vagina and, in particular, to a lubricant in the form of a suppository to be used before coition. The invention furthermore relates to a method for lubricating the human vagina by introducing a suppository which is in solid form and which melts and forms a lubricant at human body temperature. The invention additionally relates to a process for the production of a suppository which acts as lubricant from a plurality of, in general, solid substances, of which at least one substance has a lubricating property at normal ambient temperatures.
