| abstract | A method and a device for removing radioiodine from a liquid, in particular urine, are provided, the liquid containing the radioiodine being passed in a reaction container through a band-shaped filter cloth which is coated with a reaction substance which reacts with the radioiodine and this attaches. The filter cloth is guided through the reaction container at a speed dependent on the amount of liquid passed through, so that the reaction substance of the filter cloth coating remains in the liquid flow to be cleaned for only a predetermined period of time. |
