abstract | A fertiliser is composed of lupin extract, where preferably alkaloid-containing lupins are used as starting material. The lupin extract is prepared by finely grinding lupin kernels followed by extraction in the counterflow principle using enriched solvent batches, water being used as the solvent and the process temperature being low. The extraction process can be followed by a drying process so as to dehydrate the extract. The device for carrying out the process is composed of a flat-bed filter extractor which is connected to a set of storage containers for receiving the extract solutions, or of a number of extraction channels which are connected to each other by ducts, the extraction channels and the ducts forming storage capacities for the extract solutions. The fertiliser can be used successfully in all agricultural plants and forestry plants and has advantageous effects on the growth and the yields to be achieved in terms of weight. |
