The present invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of solid preparations of reactive dyes having a heterocyclic reactive component, preferably in powder or granule form, having very good water solubility. The reactive dyes to be employed in the novel process can be characterised in follows in terms of formula: <IMAGE> in which M<1> = NH4, Li, Na or K, R = heterocyclic reactive radical, R<1> = hydrogen or alkyl (C1-C4), A = radical of a dye chromophore, and n = an integer from 1 to 5. |
