titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT FLUIDIZED TREATMENTS |
abstract | In a device for carrying out fluidised bed treatments, at least one rotating blade or chopping tool (8) is located in a working tower. It is characteristic that this has a base of non-sparking material which has a wear-resistant, non-sparking outer coating (16). For example, the base of the chopping tool (8) can consist of titanium and can have an outer coating titanium nitride. In accordance with a different exemplary embodiment, the base can consist of brass, bronze or the like and be provided with foodstuff-compatible soft adhesive intermediate layer (15) on which an outer coating (16) consisting essentially of metallic oxide or the like is located (Fig. 2). Such a chopping tool (8) serves in the devices mentioned at the beginning to keep heavy conglomerates or conglomerates saturated with moisture moving and to break up clumps or larger accumulations of material which may occur; by means of the special design and the selection of the material, the chopping tool (8) according to the invention is intended to prevent sparks being generated, more specifically even if foreign bodies have got into the material to be treated. <IMAGE> |
