3,4,17-Trioxygenated 4,9(11)-androstadienes of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R is a hydrogen atom, an acyl group, an alkyl group which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom, an alkenyl group or an optionally substituted phenyl or benzyl group and X is an oxygen atom or the group <IMAGE> where R' means hydrogen, acyl, alkenyl or alkyl which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom. The compounds of the general formula I are suitable for the treatment of disorders caused by oestrogens. |
