titleOfInvention NEUTRON DETECTOR
abstract To achieve a particularly high sensitivity in neutron detectors for monitoring personnel, materials and components for entrained contamination and fissionable material with relatively low production costs, it is proposed to arrange counting tubes in a parallel alignment between front area and rear area inside a rod- or plate-shaped moderator body, to cover the rear area with a neutron reflector and to provide blind holes preferably in the front area of the moderator body facing the neutron incidence.
