titleOfInvention DIGITAL CONFERENCE CIRCUIT
abstract A conference circuit for digital telecommunications exchanges which has memory devices for the speech samples of the conferees and evaluation and selection circuits by which the speech samples are evaluated and through-connected according to predefined criteria, operates according to the instant speaker principle. In order to simplify the changeover of the loudest-speaking conferee, output signals of comparators (CO1, CO2, CO3) which compare the speech samples (A, B, C) in pairs are combined in a logic circuit (PROM) with selection signals (TLAW), by means of which the receiving conferees are temporally identified, in such a way that the loudest speech sample is sent to all conferees except to the one who produced it, while the respective second loudest speech sample is supplied to the loudest conferee. <IMAGE>
