abstract A hair rinsing composition which comprises quaternary ammonium salts, fine silicon dioxide powder and silicone derivatives in defined ranges of amounts is described. The quaternary ammonium salts are quaternary di(long chain alkyl)ammonium salts. If necessary, the di(long chain alkyl)ammonium salts can be mixed with other quaternary mono(long chain alkyl)ammonium salts. The silicone derivatives comprise various types of derivatives. These components are dissolved in water or appropriate organic solvents, resulting in a hair rinsing composition.
