abstract A dental articulator with two mutually opposite arms, to each of which a plaster model of an upper or lower jaw can be fastened by means of a mounting plate, is provided with mounting plates which essentially have the shape of a model base mould known per se and are firmly connected to the associated arm of the articulator. The mounting plate can be used like the stationary part of a separating base for the plaster model and the mounting plate consisting of a steel material is provided with a device for appropriate repositioning of the plaster model after temporary removal from the articulator.
