abstract Heat-sensitive diazo recording material having a base and a heat-sensitive recording layer which is applied thereto and which contains a diazonium compound, a coupler, a binder which melts or softens on exposure to heat and a material which can be melted by heat. The ratio by weight of diazonium compound to material which can be melted by heat is 1:2 to 1:30, and both the diazonium compound and the coupler are present in the heat-sensitive recording layer as noncohesive particles.
