| abstract | The invention relates to an installation for washing or cleaning, having a basin which is pivotable from a horizontal use position to an at least approximately vertical rest position and has an outlet opening. The basin can be constructed as a hand basin, a bathtub or as a shower tray. If, upon pivoting into the rest position, residual water is still present in the basin or if in the rest position further water gets into the inner space, for example as a result of a dripping tap, this results in particular difficulties for discharging said water. According to the invention, it is therefore proposed that the basin has in its inner space an undercut region which, in the use position, lies behind the upper edge and, in the rest position lies underneath the upper edge, the outlet opening being arranged in the said region. By virtue of the construction according to the invention, the outlet opening is situated at the deepest point of the inner space, even in the rest position, so that the water can be reliably discharged. <IMAGE> |
