titleOfInvention "COMBINATION DEVICE FOR HOLDING AND FIXING A TRANSFER ARCH, AN ARTICULATOR, AND THE PINE MODELS WHILE PLASTERING THE COUNTER-ORDER MODEL IN THE ARTICULATOR"
abstract The present invention relates to a combination device, also called an assembly aid, for holding and fixing a transfer bow, for pivotable holding and adjustment of the desired angle of inclination of an articulator frame part and for fixing superimposed jaw models when placing the opposing jaw model in plaster in the articulator. To this end, the combination device has a U-shaped frame, whose base surface forms the bearing surface in order to ensure a safe positioning of the combination device. Arranged in the vicinity of the upper end of each side wall is a support for the transfer bow, which forms several support points, it being possible for the transfer bow to be fixed on the support by means of a locking device. In addition, there is in the vicinity of the support a movable journal for the frame part of the dental articulator, which is directed into the interior between the side walls and is designed in such a way that the particular desired angle of inclination of the dental articulator can be set. In addition, for the purpose of fixing superimposed jaw models when placing the opposing jaw model in plaster in the articulator, there is on one of the side walls of the combination device or on an optionally lengthened part of the bearing strip a pillar, a support block which can be vertically adjusted by displacement and carries an elastic extension arm.
