titleOfInvention METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A TITANIUM ALLOY FOR THE ABSORPTION (OCCLUSION) OF HYDROGEN
abstract The process and equipment for producing a titanium alloy for the absorption (occlusion) of hydrogen by fusion of the metal components by means of high-frequency inductive heating are characterised in that the section of the furnace which comes into contact with the molten metal is lined with or consists of a fire-resistant (refractory) CaO-based material, in order to prevent contamination of the alloy components by the furnace material during the fusion in an inert gas atmosphere.
