titleOfInvention HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM
abstract A gas-insulated high-voltage installation for electrical equipment is filled with a mixture of a gas, composed of an insulating gas, and the vapour of a liquid. The interior of the switching installation is connected to a liquids container, which can be cooled and expediently is heat-insulated, so that the vapour of the liquid can balance in the two spaces. The temperature of the liquid is controlled in such a way that the desired working gauge pressure of the encapsulation results from the total of the partial pressure of the insulating gas and the vapour pressure of the liquid. The invention makes it possible to keep the working gauge pressure of gas-filled encapsulations approximately constant over a wide temperature range at low cost in space and energy.
