A double-walled pipe, especially for conveying hot helium in a high-temperature nuclear energy installation, having a metallic outer pipe (1), a ceramic inner pipe (2), which is constructed from individual length, of pipe (21, 22), and insulation (7) filling the intermediate space. The inner and outer pipes are connected to one another by means of rods (3) which are distributed uniformly around the circumference and are mounted on the inner pipe by means of a first hinged joint (4) on the outer pipe and by means of a second hinged joint (5) on the inner pipe, in such a manner that the rods (3) form tangents to the inner pipe (2). This permits unhindered thermal expansion between the two components in addition to secure retention of the inner pipe in the outer pipe. <IMAGE> |
