abstract The invention is a shrink tube (1-1Δ) with closure elements (6, 26, 29, 43-44, 46) which are cut out from surface sections of the edge areas of the shrink tube (1-1Δ) and unfolded. These unfolded closure elements are hooked into closure elements (5) of the second longitudinal edge (1). The longitudinal edges (1, 1Δ) of the shrink tube (1-1Δ) are provided with embedded reinforcements (2, 39) for stiffening.
