The invention relates to a process for the production of a tricalcium phosphate bone ceramic and to a tricalcium phosphate ceramic moulding produced thereby and having a micro- or macroporosity for increased uptake of an antiseptic, chemotherapeutic or broad-band microbiocide and having an outer coating for prolonged release of the active substance, where the micro- or macroporosity is obtained by adding to the ceramic part before the firing step, inorganic and/or organic micro- or macropore-forming substances such as sugars, ammonium bicarbonate and/or ammonium carbamate, calcium hydrogen phosphate and the like. |
