abstract The surfactant components used in liquid detergents having a high electrolyte content are a surfactant mixture containing sulphobetaines and quaternary ammonium alkenesulphonates which has been prepared by reaction of the crude alkenesulphonic acid product from the sulphonation of C8-20- alpha -olefins with tert-alkyl- and/or tert-hydroxyalkylamines having a total of not more than 25 C atoms.
